H&M, everyone’s favorite fast fashion retailer, went luxe last night with a full-blown (and glamorous) runway show during Paris Fashion Week at a specially constructed space at the Musée Rodin. Keeping in tune with their accesible aesthetic, while simultaneously kicking it up a notch, H&M presented an eclectic and wearable collection filled with intricate knitwear, leather jackets, boho pieces and a few sequined dresses—you know, for those special nights. The collection will be available worldwide in over 200 stores for Fall on September 5, 2013—you know just in time to kick of New York Fashion Week.

Tuesday evening, I attended my first event of Paris Fashion Week F/W 2013, the Aganovich runway show.
It’s hard to believe that six months ago I was in Paris with my mother covering shows like Chanel, Elie Saab and Balmain. While Paris Fashion Week has been around for quite some time in one fashion—no pun intended—or another, this is only the second season of MADE Fashion Week Paris. While MADE is already well known in NYC for housing “cooler” and more “relaxed” shows downtown, in Paris it’s still all about the glamour.
