Spring Fashion Essentials | Target Style

I know it may still be cold in certain parts of the country, heck it’s even still chilly in Los Angeles, but peeks of sun and sporadic warm days are upon us and that means it’s officially Spring! Time to re-vamp the wardrobe, clean your closet and pick up a few new, and essential pieces. As I’ve mentioned before Target is the perfect retailer for this.

    Well, kiddies, pack your printed Mulberry suitcases. We’re leaving London and heading to Milan. London fashion week has wrapped after a whirlwind five days that saw everything from pieces fit for a Queen to pieces made for Kim Kardashian’s future spawn.

    So who had the best collection, who had the worst, who had the most interesting?

      All Things Tom Ford - London Fashion Week A/W 2013

      I wasn’t there so I don’t know the exact theme, purpose or thought process that went into Tom Ford’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection during London Fashion Week, but I imagine it had to do with animals, nights on the riviera, Native American reservations, African safaris and healthy doses of unabashed glamour.

        If you’re like me and already a little weary of the fashion shows, models, coverage, after-parties, pre-parties, launches and the likes take a break and do the Harlem Shake. That’s what models Jourdon DunnCara Delvigne and Rosie Tapner did backstage at the Topshop Unique show during London Fashion Week. And if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for us!

          Reports of fashion being late to embrace technology are a thing of the past. Recently fashion brands have been at the forefront of the movement of integrating technology seamlessly into their bottom line; and offering customers unparalleled experiences by merging new innovations with traditional services. Case in point? Burberry launching a “smart personalization” service immediately after their Autumn/Winter 2013 show earlier today.
