Well, I have favorite American designers too! So, I thought I’d share my top 5 favorite American designers with you, the item that put them on the map and my favorite items from their collections. With the debut of the Rocco, he became a household name. Get it here. Personally, I own the Emile tote and a fabulous pair of blue shoes.
Proenza Schouler
Another brand that went global with the invention of a simple bag. The PS1, available here. AND if you have the funds, check out their clothing, I have a blazer by them and it was worth every penny. Amazing lines and quality. Plus, the fit, iconic! Jack and Lazaro you can do no wrong.
Tory Burch
Come on, you don’t own her flats? I love mine. So much so that I wear out a pair almost every six months, like clockwork, it’s annoying. Gold is my favorite, available here.

That’s Diane von Furstenberg in case you didn’t know. While she’s known for her wrap dresses, I prefer her tunic styles. Available here.
Rebecca Minkoff
Early proponent of bloggers, digital innovator, amazing things. Need I say more? She also landed on the map with a bag. A morning after bag to be exact, appropriately named M.A.C. (morning after clutch). Available here.
