I recently went to London and Paris with my husband on vacation/work. As soon as I landed at Heathrow, I hurried off in a fashion frenzy to the stylish shopping district/boulevard Knightsbridge. My husband was being a bit of a grump (okay we just
got off a 9 hour flight) and wouldn’t let me go into Harrods, but I did manage to sneak into Harvey Nichols – kinda like the Barneys of London and explore a bit on the ground floor (the best floor of any high-end department store).
I also noticed all the stylish women walking around the streets as if they just stepped off a runway or were from a chic Parisian film. So far from the streets of Los Angeles and our laid-back ‘high-fashion’.
The stores were fantastic and set up in that awesome European way in low-rise buildings – unlike NYC (let’s leave Los Angeles for a second).
Harvey Nichols and Kurt Geiger
I also spotted this new and limited edition ‘Nightingale’ purse by Givenchy in a small boutique – and with Tax Free shopping it was less than 1k!
I found these amazing pumps by Kurt Geiger, an amazing shoe store in London, but sadly they didn’t have the perfect size for me.
I also saw this amazing tassel necklace!
In the end I only purchased two silk blouses – one from Harvey Nichols and one from Topshop; and of course, we also did some sightseeing!
Next up – Paris shopping! Whoa – that will probably take another week to post!
I also want to say thank you to all my guest bloggers! Ciara, Ashley, Ria and Lizbeth – they rocked while I was away and you can read all their entries in older posts on ICON and visit their blogs for more stories!
