The Golden Globes wrapped Sunday night with fashion hearts a flutter over the fashion and style that exploded on the red carpet at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. While all the stars brought their unique and beautiful looks to the carpet, there were five major fashion and beauty trends that were seen over and over again.
COLOR
If you know me and my site you will know how much I love color. That’s why when stars like Paula Patton, Kelly Osbourne, Amber Riley and Evan Rachel Wood brightened up the red carpet with colorful picks I was overly delighted.
HEADBANDS
While stars usually sport elaborate up-dos for red carpet events, I loved how many of celebs accentuated their hair with playful, crystal and pretty headbands. It added a softer and more feminine look. Michelle Williams and Charlize Theron were my favorite headband looks.
NUDE DRESSES
Although I report frequently on my love for color, I also have a secret obsession with nude colors, and am always on the hunt for the perfect nude blouse or shoes. Stars like Heidi Klum, Mary J. Blige and Jessica Chastain all showed off their best nude looks!
TOUSLED LOCKS
Another popular hair style on the red carpet were tousled locks and natural waves. Stars like Reese Witherspoon, Salma Hayek and Elle Macpherson let their hair down, literally, and enjoyed the night.
THIGH GRAZING SLITS
One of my favorite looks on the red carpet were the thigh grazing slits seen on stars like Angelina Jolie, Emma Stone, Charlize Theron and Viola Davis. Sexy, sophisticated and oh, so, daring! We here at ICON approve!
