Ahhh, the White House Correspondents’ Dinner! A night when Hollywood and Washington D.C. meet to toast, roast and heat up the red carpet with great fashion. I am not going to lie, I do not know how this got started, or why, however I DO remember Obama’s infamous roast of Donald Trump, the night before he nabbed Osama bin Laden. Iconic!
Anyway, this year’s dinner included a gorgeous Michelle Obama in Naeem Khan, more comedy and of course, great style. Check out what celebrities like Charlize Theron, Viola Davis, Kate Hudson, Zooey Deschanel and more wore…and check out my commentary on the best and worst looks of the night. OH! And, Lindsay Lohan was there…nice to see you’re still ticking girl!

Dakota Fanning: How old is this girl? I still remember her in Man on Fire with Denzel Washington. Anyway her Prada dress is GORGEOUS, STUNNING, BREATHTAKING, GOTTA HAVE IT status, but I think it’s a little too mature for her. She should have worn a mini lace cocktail dress in a fun color! She finished off her look with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.
Viola Davis: WOW, just show ‘em how it is done! The twice Oscar nominated actress looked great in a semi-dramatic (just go with it), floor length red Amsale gown and DeBeers jewels. Super classy!
Charlize Theron & Kate Hudson: Gotta love a gorgeous blond, and tonight we have two! Theron (star of the upcoming Snow White & The Huntsmen film), stuns in a lace Emilio Pucci dress and Judith Leiber clutch. Likewise, Kate Hudson is radiant in a purple sequined gown and perfect princess bun!
WORST
Kerry Washington: As a gorgeous woman, with a normally gorgeous wardrobe, this look was as boring as her new ABC show, Scandal. Plus, I get you live in LA, but this is Washington! Jazz it up a little bit! This outfit made it clear that her affair with the commander in chief is only a silly plot line!
Zooey Deschanel: Zooey, Zooey, Zooey —what are you wearing and why are you posing like a five year old who has to use the restroom? Her Oscar de la Renta dress is a failure on so many levels I am not quite sure what to say, except, don’t do that again.
Lindsay Lohan: Like Kim Kardashian (who barely did not make this list tonight), I am ALWAYS rooting for Ms. Lohan. I think she’s gorgeous, a funny actress and just a fun mess to watch. However, her Marilyn-esque dress is too long, too baggy, ill-fitting—and is she itching her extensions in that picture? I will say however, her face and make-up look gorgeous. Gotta love a red BOLD lip!
P.S. Why did FOX News invite the Kardashians and Lindsay Lohan? Like I said, God love them all, however, those are two pretty “liberal” people/families…just saying…
