VIDEO: Fashion’s Night Out 2011 – Beverly Hills, CA

Last night’s Fashion’s Night Out 2011 activities took the now annual event to the next level. I visited multiple parts of Los Angeles, but Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive specifically, took things to the next level.

First off, I would like to thank the Rodeo Drive’s Fashion’s Night Out, event co-chair Kathy Gohari, for sitting down with The Icon Concierge for a quick video interview on why Rodeo Drive, possibly the most famous shopping street in the world, decided to participate in this year’s Fashion’s Night Out.

Now for the activities… The iconic Rodeo Drive was lit up with bright store lights, streets lined with visitors and shoppers, food trucks, circus entertainers and pop-up booths. High-end retailers such as Chanel, Lanvin, Giorgio Armani, Valentino and more all hosted special events such as manicures, dance parties, make overs and sketch artists.

Their iconic ferris wheel also made a return, and shoppers enjoyed free rides with proof of purchase, throughout the night.

Stores also had special window displays and messaging in support of Fashion’s Night Out including, Lanvin’s beyond cute, display of love for the night (in the video).

All in all, the night was filled with luxury retailers opening their doors and encouraging the masses to flood it with fashion, enthusiasm and a night filled of iconic shopping.
