Byredo perfumes, based out of Stockholm, Sweden, was one my best finds while in Sweden for their Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week earlier this month. I’ve always seen their rounded and feminine bottles while shopping at Barneys New York, but I never really stopped to smell their wide array of intoxicating, sensual and fruitful scents.
Founded in 2006 by Ben Gorham alongside master perfumers, Jerome Epinette and Olivia Giocobetti, Byredo utilizes the finest raw materials for the simplest yet most elegant scents on the market.
My absolute favorite is La Tulipe. Featuring top notes of Rhubarb and Fresia, middle notes of Tulip and a base of blonde woods and vetiver. La Tulipe is a sweet, yet sophisticated scent that makes everyone from the elderly to small children stop and sniff me like a fresh tulip!
