Upon first entering the Vera Wang show during New York Fashion Week on Valentine’s Day I was instantly reminded that this was a premier designer. Everyone from Anna Wintour, who was seated next to Oscar nominee (and favorite to win) Viola Davis, to Joe Zee, Nina Garcia, Linda Fargo, A-list bloggers and more were sitting front row and ready for the iconic designer to show her latest collection.
The looks ranged from great separates such as baroque pants, detailed draping and chubby furs to heavily beaded pieces. Trends that we’ve seen on all the runways such as burnt orange, peplum tops and moody palettes were also present, however they were edited and styled in Vera’s way.
