I would love to say that I was blown away and in utter awe of CHANEL‘s collection during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, but unfortunately, and honestly, it underwhelmed me. While Karl Lagerfeld did feature fantastic tweeds, amazingly embroidered ensembles and magical colors, the styles and silhouettes were stale in my personal opinion.
I will however, say that next to Givenchy’s presentation, CHANEL’s was the absolute best. I deeply admire how Lagerfeld and his team always manage to tell a fantastic story season after season. I just wish their characters would dress a little more differently from each other for the occasion. Below you can watch video of the show and see my favorite picks.
