Visual Style Diary: Pink Lace & Old French Sweats

As I’ve mentioned before I’ve recently partnered with Sarah Mick to shoot some photos for my blog. She was a friend of a co-worker, who became a friend, and I love the work we’re doing together. Also, on board is Malia, another former co-worker who is now a friend. Tech girls are getting creative, and that’s why I’m so happy to share my first complete look with you all from one of these shoots. I’m wearing an old sweatshirt that I purchased in Paris when I was 16. The sleeves are LONG, it’s snagged in a few places, the white is turning yellow and I hardly wear it, but I just can’t quit it! It was one of my best purchases ever and it carried me through the end of high school, college and now my early working years.

The skirt is from H&M (yea, I know) and I spotted it in US Weekly. Only $30, you really can’t go wrong. I love the soft pink color of the lace. I also loved pairing it with the baggier sweatshirt, that everyone else on the shoot was not loving. The beauty was easy. Simple make-up and a messy top-bun courtesy of Malia. Hope you like it, and expect many more shoots like this from us in the future! Get the look below.
