After a couple of days spent viewing clothing collections at New York Fashion Week, I was excited to go look at Alejandro Ingelmo’s Spring/Summer 2013 shoe collection. What girl doesn’t love a good pair of heels, and his work did not disappoint. Presented in the Standard Hotel, the dark room featured a decorative netted ceiling that gave a dramatic vibe. The collection was placed on concrete blocks stacked up high, with spotlights, really giving the viewers the perfect atmosphere.

The sleek, pointy-toed stilettos in metallics, neutrals, pastels and neon are soon to be on every women’s wish list. My favorite were the heels that had an origami-esque cutout, in different colors, perfect for any outfit.

The pieces that stood out the most were the sneakers, located in the middle of the room. The neon colors alone would make you a fan, but the metallic and crystals really made me fall in love. This ongoing sneaker trend is here to stay and Alejandro takes it to another level with these chic and stylish pairs.
