Oscar de la Renta’s 2013 Wedding Collection Inspires Brides

Okay, so I am not a bride this summer, but I was two summers ago and I still love viewing Town & Country and New York Magazines’ wedding issues. One of the most inspirational and aspirational gown collections from Bridal Fashion Week a few weeks ago was from Oscar de  la Renta. Let’s review my three favorite pieces, and I will run down why I love them so much!

Something Blue – A sweetheart neckline, delicate lace, a dazzling brooch and magical blue tulle —what’s not to love about this look? Your “something blue,” is built into the gown.

The White Angel – When I first saw this dress I remembered little girls getting Christened on Sundays. For the dramatic, stylish and daring bride this sweet, and somehow still simple gown, is the ultimate choice.

The Vampy Bride – Okay, let’s remove the black birdcage veil, unless this is a Halloween costume for a millionaire, and you get a sexy and engaging tulle and organza detail gown that is truly one of a kind. While there’s nothing sweet about this look, it is iconic….

So these are my three favorite gowns from the current wedding season…did you have a favorite one? Tweet me a picture at @Icon_Concierge on Twitter!

P.S. If you’re getting married this summer congrats! Send me your pictures and I’ll post them on The Icon Concierge’s Facebook page! Every fashionista loves a good love story!
