Designer Chistian Siriano may best be known to the masses for winning Bravo’s Project Runway, and propelling into fashion stardom. However, on Saturday I had the privilege of attending his Fall/Winter 2012 runway show during New York Fashion Week, where the clothes and collection he presented were in a word…phenomenal. Showing a range of day, cocktail and evening wear, the best part of his pieces were the DETAILS! From textured leather jackets, embellished grey fur and stunning red-carpet gowns, Siriano treated his celebrity guests (Mena Suvari was in attendance) to an amazing show that further confirmed why he won Project Runway; and why the fashion community and fans are simply obsessed with this young and talented designer.
The room was PACKED with editors, stylists, bloggers and fans rising out of their seats each time a model walked out on the floor. Dresses had long trains, leather had been rethought and a tiny touch of bling could be found on almost every piece. Check out our pictures of the collection, and make sure to also check out our Pinterest board for more pics on who sat front row and from the collection.
