Oh Carine, another fashion icon for my generation. Remember when she left Vogue Paris amongst speculation? And remember when the fashion world speculated what she would do next? She said she had no clue, but I feel like she an inkling. Fast forward a year and she’s become even larger than she was at Vogue. Styling numerous campaigns, releasing an eponymous book, starring ina documentary and preparing for the launch of her own magazine (CR Fashion Book) one can only wonder how she does it all. PLUS, she recently became a grandmother (congrats).
Between her pencil skirts and penchant for black one might wonder if she practices a stylish form of black magic or just eats her wheaties. Whatever the case, Roitfeld is on a roll and she recently styled 3 covers for V Magazine‘s Youthquake issue. Featuring mod-squad era styles with a mix of musicians and models wearing Givenchy, Balenciaga and Commes des Garcons. And yes, these clothes will actually be available in stores! Do you have a favorite cover? Mine is the pink one…You?
Available on Newsstands now.
