Brazil Fashion on Moda Operandi – Designers Isolda & Cris Barros

And the beat goes on…or at least Brazilian Fashion Week on e-commerce powerhouse Moda Operandi. I already shared with you their featured designers from Monday and Tuesday, and my picks from the collections. Today they’re featuring two ready to wear deaigners: Isolda & Cris Barros. While I love both of these lines equally, I instantly fell in love with this yellow maxi dress from Isolda. Feminine, chic, on-trend, yellow and just plain stunning! I can think of 10o and 10 ways to wear it.

Maxi Dress (here); Leather Jacket (here); Shoes (here); Cuff (here); Earrings (here)

Literally. Pair it with a leather bomber to bring out the toughness in it. Pair it with a shawl to keep it feminine. For jewelry skip the necklace, since the neckline of the dress is high and go for BOLD earrings and cuffs. Even match your earrings and cuffs. For shoes you can either keep it neutral, which will look pretty, but can be boring OR you can add colorful shoes. Wedges, sandals or even rockin’ pumps. Do you get how much I love this dress? Good.

So who is Isolda? She’s a British and Brazilian designer, who now resides in London. She has a degree in architecture (see those lines) and is also trained as a textile designer. Isolda is the affectionate name of her great-grandmother, and her given name is Alessandra Affonso Ferreira. Remember it, because she’s making a big splash across the world.

P.S. You can see exclusive images of M’O's artistic director, Taylor Tomasi Hill styling the models for this adventure here. You can also see my picks from Monday and Tuesday here and here!
