Last week the ASOS team sent me their latest lookbook and I instantly fell in love with the pictures and some of the pieces. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t shop at ASOS or enjoy their ginormous selection of outfits in all price ranges. It’s a mecca for fashionistas. So what were my favorite selections from their latest styles? This oversized ruby sweater. While it’s styled with pants, I say ditch them and go mod like Emma Stone on the cover of British Vogue. Wear with patent black platform pumps, and if you’re mod enough wear with thick stockings. Hey, Kate wears panty hose.
The floral trend isn’t going anywhere, and while I am half and half on it, I love this cropped one. The boxy shape gives it a tougher, more grunge feel, but the florals keep it soft and feminine. Wear with a white tee or blouse and boyfriend jeans. Finish off with some cool heels.
A leather jacket with a tail? You betcha! Classic, modern, masculine and then some. Don’t be afraid to wear it over a maxi dress, short dress, formal dress or of course with jeans as it’s styled above.
And finally we have a great winter coat, with a faux-fur neck cowl. Add a bit of Mad Men glamour to your Winter look.
