I will be the first to admit that I knew little of Britain’s only and first female Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. When Margaret Thatcher died morning at the Ritz in London, the media went into a frenzy recounting her life, rise to power, influence and how she resurrected England from a government-dependent state to one that championed capitalism, free trade and individualism. Love her or hate her, the woman had to get dressed in the morning, and many fashion sites are also commenting on her dress sense or power dressing. So the question I pose: is Margaret Thatcher a fashion icon?
